Women's Soccer Celebrates Sophomores

[Ontario, OR] - The Treasure Valley women's soccer team honored their sophomores before Wednesday afternoon's matchup, and last game of the year, against the Warriors from Walla Walla Community College. The 6 Chukar sophomores honored before the match included Beza Armstrong, Leslie Castrejon, Trasie Hogin, Lexi Chapparo, Hilda Campos-Briceno, and Emily Miller.

During the match, the Chukars faced a tough Walla Walla team. The Chukars were on the scoreboard first, with Hilda Campos-Briceno scoring in the 40th minute, assisted by Leslie Castrejon. The Warriors stormed back with a goal of their own in the 44th minute, and would hold the Chukars scoreless in the 2nd half. The final score was 5-1, with the Warriors coming out on top. 

The Chukars ended the 2021 season with a record of 1-13.
