Chukars sign Dajon Howe

(Ontario, OR) Treasure Valley Coach Ryan Zimmerman has announced the signing of Guard - Dajon (DJ) Howe out of Bishop Gorman HS in Las Vegas, NV.

Howe will add depth and electricity to the Chukars backcourt next season. Howe will come to Ontario from the renowned Bishop Gorman Program, where he was the starting PG and played a pivotal role in the Gaels Past two state championship runs. Bishop Gorman has won 7 straight state titles in Nevada.

"Daj is a strong, lightning quick guard that can put a lot of pressure on the rim and really knows how to make plays for others," Zimmerman said. "He knows how to win and he's a fierce comptitor. He doesn't stop. He just keeps bringing it at his opponents."

On the club circuit, DJ played on one of the premier AAU teams in Las Vegas, 702 Select, under Coach Brian Lang.

"DJ is a good student and great person. He'll be an awesome addition to our community," says Zimmerman. "I think one of my favorite things about Daj, is the enjoyment he has about being on the court. He plays with a smile and it's contagious."
