Chukars defeat USU Eastern 78-75

(Ephraim, UT) - The TVCC men's basketball team matched up a second time against USU Eastern and once again came up with a close victory, winning 78-75 at Snow College Friday night.

Sophomore Tyus Jefferson led the CHUKS with 20 points on 7-16 sooting from the floor and knocking down 6-8 free throws. Sophomore Hunter Bailey added 18 points including 6-6 free throws. Sophomore Jarek Schetzle added 11 points.

The Chukars trailed by 9 points in the first half and made a furious comeback in the second half.

The Chukars, 3-3 on the season, will take on the Badgers from Snow College tonight at 5 pm.
