(Twin Falls, ID) - The TVCC men's basketball team trailed 43-40 at the half against Arizona Western College Friday night in Twin Falls, but regained the lead in the second half and held a double digit lead at one point but could not hold the lead and lost 99-93.
Sophomore Landon Jones came off the bench to lead the CHUKS in scoring with 22 points, including 7-12 from the field and 4-7 from 3 point land and grabbed a team high 9 rebounds. Tyus Jefferson knocked down 8-8 on free throws and added 16 points. Kendall Williams and Hunter Bailey each added 15 points and freshman De'Marcco Alexander added 10 points.
The Chukars, 1-2 on the season, will take on the Prep Elite Saturday in Twin Falls.
