Chukars Finish Series vs Wenatchee on Top
[Ontario, Oregon]-Treasure Valley Community College continued its strong week with a pair of high-scoring wins over Wenatchee Valley, showcasing an explosive offense and consistent production throughout the lineup. Earlier in the week, the Chukars split a road doubleheader at Wenatchee on Wednesday, earning a 4–1 win before falling 8–4. They responded over the weekend to take control of the series, finishing the week 3–1 overall against Wenatchee Valley.
On Saturday, Treasure Valley secured a 13–9 victory behind a powerful offensive performance led by Cam Ueland. Ueland recorded three hits, including a home run, and drove in four RBIs to pace the Chukars. Brayden Ollar added four runs scored and two doubles, while Colt Durham contributed a triple and two RBIs as part of a 14-hit team effort. Boyd Kay chipped in with three RBIs, and Hunter Christensen added three hits and three runs to help maintain the offensive pressure.
On the mound, Landyn Fullmer provided a strong outing, pitching 4 1/3 scoreless innings and striking out four. Levi Hazes earned the win in relief, while the defense supported the pitching staff with two double plays. Despite committing three errors, the Chukars capitalized on Wenatchee Valley's struggles on the mound to secure the win.
Treasure Valley carried that momentum into another offensive surge on Saturday, defeating Wenatchee Valley 15–10. The Chukars racked up 18 hits in the contest, led by Hunter Christensen's standout 5-for-7 performance with a double and two RBIs. Kade Bailey also delivered a big game, collecting four hits—including a home run and two doubles—while driving in three runs and adding two stolen bases. Ueland continued his strong weekend with another home run, contributing to the team's scoring output.
Jameson Deitz started on the mound, pitching three innings with four strikeouts, while Trey Allen provided key relief with 3 1/3 innings of one-run baseball to stabilize the game. Gabe Schwenken closed things out with a scoreless inning to secure the victory.
With consistent hitting, timely pitching, and contributions throughout the lineup, the Chukars turned a midweek split into a successful series, finishing 3–1 against Wenatchee Valley and building momentum moving forward.
