Bio

Amber Fouts brings over 14 years of coaching experience to her role as the Assistant Volleyball Coach at Treasure Valley Community College. A dedicated and passionate leader, Fouts has built her career around developing athletes, fostering team culture, and building competitive, character-driven programs throughout the Treasure Valley.

During the 2025–2026 season, Fouts served as the Assistant Volleyball Coach for TVCC, where she played an integral role in helping guide the team to its first-ever NWAC Championship title—a historic moment for the program and college.

Before joining TVCC, Fouts made a major impact at Vallivue High School in Caldwell, Idaho, where she served as the Head Varsity Coach. In her first year, she led a remarkable turnaround, taking a last-seeded team to the state tournament. Her influence extended well beyond the court, with more than 15 of her former athletes continuing their volleyball careers at the collegiate level.

Fouts has also been a respected presence in the club volleyball community. She has coached with Idaho Crush Volleyball and previously founded and directed Elevate Volleyball Club—a successful local program she led for four years, dedicated to helping young athletes grow both on and off the court.

Her own playing career was cut short by a knee injury—an experience that reshaped her path and deepened her calling to coach. Through that transition, she discovered a lasting purpose: to inspire and empower the next generation of players through a passion for growth, teamwork, and resilience.

She holds a degree in Pre-Law and Criminal Justice and is known for her athlete-first coaching philosophy:

“We are all just trying to be the best versions of ourselves for the person next to us.”

Originally from Hammett, Idaho, Fouts grew up on a potato farm and graduated from Mountain Home High School. She now resides in Homedale with her two children, Taylor and Wayne.
