Bio
Amber Fouts brings over 14 years of coaching experience to her role as the Assistant Coach at Treasure Valley Community College. A dedicated and passionate coach, Fouts has spent her career developing athletes and building competitive, character-driven programs throughout the Treasure Valley.
Before joining TVCC, Fouts served as the Head Varsity Coach at Vallivue High School in Caldwell, Idaho, where she led a remarkable turnaround—taking a last-seeded team into the state tournament in her first year. Her impact has been felt far beyond wins and losses, with over 15 of her former players going on to compete at the collegiate level.
Fouts has also made her mark in the club volleyball scene, currently coaching the 17-2 National Team at Idaho Crush Volleyball. Previously, she founded and directed Elevate Volleyball Club, a successful local program she led for four years, helping young athletes grow both on and off the court.
Her playing career was spent at Spokane Falls Community College and was part of a competive culture and program. Fouts' playing career was unfortunately cut short due to a knee injury. That experience redirected her path toward coaching, where her love for the game and commitment to her athletes found a new purpose.
She holds a degree in Pre-Law and Criminal Justice and is known for her athlete-first coaching philosophy:
"We are all just trying to be the best versions of ourselves for the person next to us."
Originally from Hammett, Idaho, Fouts grew up on a potato farm and graduated from Mountain Home High School. She now resides in Homedale with her two children, Taylor and Wayne.
