The final matchup of the weekend put the host school against the Chukars. The Clippers of SPSCC took the first two sets against the Chukars, looking like it would be a clean sweep. The Chukars fought back and forced it to a fifth set, which they came out victorious and finished a great weekend with a fantastic back-and-forth battle. Hoffner recorded 50 assists in the contest, also finishing with 13 digs. Mckean and Burris lit up the stat sheet with 28 digs each, and Mackenzie Olsen posted a game-high 18 kills. The contest was a total team effort and was an exciting way to cap off the weekend.

When asked about the performance, Head Coach Rylie Engelson said this about her team: "Our offense had great improvements from the week prior. It was fun to see them implement the things we have been working on in practice. I thought we responded well all weekend and made great adjustments as a team. We set the bar high for the rest of our season. We are excited to get back in the gym this week and improve on the little things."

The Chukars are back in action this Friday as they travel to East Region opponent Columbia Basin College. They will be back at home on Friday and Saturday, September 29th and 30th as they host the Big Bend Vikings and Wenatchee Valley Knights.
