Chukar Volleyball Steals a Set from CSI, Loses Game

[Ontario, OR] - On Wednesday, the Chukar volleyball team fell in their first home match of the season. The Golden Eagles from College of Southern Idaho were in town, but the Chukars put up a good fight. The Chuks dropped the first set, losing 17-25. The second set was a comeback for Treasure Valley as they kept it close, edging out the Golden Eagles, winning the set 25-23. After tying it up, the third set was another nailbiter, but the Chukars ran out of steam as they lost set 3 by a score of 19-25. Going into the must-win 4th set, the Golden Eagles stepped on the gas and outlasted the Chuks, winning the 4th and final set with a score of 11-25. The Chukars ultimately lost the game, losing 3 sets to 1. 

The Treasure Valley Volleyball team will be back in action at home this Saturday, September 18th as the Spokane Bigfoot come to town for a 2:00 pm matchup.
