Lady Chukars Fall Short Against Walla Walla.
(Ontario, OR) - TVCC (5-8, NWAC) was defeated by Walla Walla Community College (7-5, NWAC) by a final score of 88-77. The Chukars were led by Lillie Smith who scored 19 points. Paige Vorwaller added 17 and Tara Chamberlain contributed 13. TVCC was down by 27 points to start the 4th quarter but battled back to cut the deficit to just eight points, 81-73 with 1:19 remaining in the game. Walla Walla connected on 9 of 13 three-point attempts to finish the game shooting 69.2% from long-range. TVCC is scheduled to play February 16th at Big Bend Community College. Go Chuks!
