(Ontario, OR) - The Lady Chukars fell in overtime at Columbia Basin College by a final score of 75-73. With five seconds remaining in regulation, Paige Vorwaller (10 pts. & 7 rebs.) knocked down two crucial free throws to put the Chukars up 65-63. TVCC was then called for an intentional foul with 3 seconds left and CBC's Alexis Castro (33 pts) made both free throws to cause overtime. CBC outscored the Chuks 10-8 in the overtime period. Lillian Kelley led TVCC with 19 points, Tara Chamberlain finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds, and Macy Markus pitched in 12 points. TVCC falls to 2-5 in NWAC play and will be back in action at the John J Easly Gymnasium on Saturday, January 26th at 2:00pm. The Chukars will face Wenatchee Valley (7-0, NWAC). Go Chuks!
