(Las Vegas, NV) - The TVCC women's basketball team bounced back after a disappointing loss to USU Eastern the previous day by defeating Colorado Northwestern CC 83-59 in the Cannery Classic hosted by the College of Southern Nevada.
On Wednesday the CHUKS lost 71-48 to USU Eastern. The CHUKS managed just 2 points in the third period.
On Thursday, the Chukars rebounded with the convincing win over CNCC as Paige Vorwaller led the Chuks with 20 points and grabbed a team high 9 rebounds. Haddee Reynolds added 12 points and Tara Chamberlain chipped in with 10 points.
The Chukars, 5-5 overall, will take on Salt Lake CC Friday in Las Vegas.
