(Eugene, OR) - The TVCC women's basketball team earned their first win of the year, defeating the Raiders from Pierce College 85-58 Saturday afternoon at the Titan Classic in Eugene, Oregon.
The CHUKS had four players score in double figures led by freshman Kia Pokibro with 16 points, including 4-10 from 3 point land. Holle Raymond chipped in with 11 points, while Shaylee Gilchrist and Taylor Whitney each had 10 points. Whitney also grabbed 10 rebounds and Gilchrist had 9 rebounds. The Chukar bench scored 47 points.
The CHUKS, 1-1, will play Linn-Benton CC on Sunday.
