Yaks defeat the CHUKS 63-60
(Yakima, WA) - The TVCC women's basketball team could not get the win and a clinch for a playoff spot Wednesday night as the Yaks won the game 63-60. The CHUKS are now tied with the Yaks for fourth place in the East, with two games remaining.
Sophomore Riley Helmick led the CHUKS with 18 points, draining 6 three point FG's. Sophomore Gentry Oldham added 16 points and grabbed a team high 9 rebounds. Sophomore Chelsee Baker added 13 points.
The Chukars, 15-10 overall and 7-7 in league, will host Big Bend CC this Saturday at 2 pm.
