Chukars fly past Spokane 17-0 and 8-5

(Ontario, OR) - The TVCC Chukar softball team continued the hot hitting banging out 18 hits in game one to sweep the Sasquatch from Spokane 17-0 and 8-5.

Game 1:   CHUKS 17   Spokane 0

Raelyn Curry gave up a leadoff single to start the game and that was the only hit for Spokane in game one. The Chukars ripped 18 hits including 2 homeruns from Jordan Henley (16, 17), Rachael Ringer, and CJ Davis. Henley, Ringer, and Davis all had 3 RBI's each. Curry also had 3 hits in the game.

Game 2:   CHUKS 8   Spokane 5

Shaylee Flint gave up 3 runs in the top of the first, but, the CHUKS bounced back to win game two 8-5. Curry pitched the CHUKS out of a jam in the top of the 7th, to earn the save. Ringer and Davis each had two more hits in game two to give them 5 each on the day. Lynsey Hudelson also had two hits. Gracie Waite hit a solo HR (2nd) for the CHUKS.
