CHUKS split with Spokane
(Spokane, WA) - The TVCC Chukar softball team bounced back from a tough game one loss 14-13 and took game two 11-5 over Spokane on Saturday.
Game 1 Spokane 14 CHUKS 13
Jenna Gray went 3-3 and Jordan Henley went 3-4 with her 5th HR of the season and had 4 RBI's to lead the CHUKS. Shaylee Flint suffered the loss after the CHUKS rallied for 4 runs in the top of the 7th to take the lead 13-12.
Game 2 CHUKS 11 Spokane 5
The Chuks jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first inning and never looked back. Macie Smith went 3-5 and Samantha MacFee went 3-4 with 3 RBI's hitting 2 doubles to lead the CHUKS. Lynsey Hudelson went 2-5 with 2 RBI's.
The Chukars, 7-5 in league, will host Columbia Basin College on Friday starting at 2 pm.
