CHUKS sweep Yakima and lose both at Wenatchee
(Yakima, WA and Wenatchee, WA) - On Friday, the Chukar softball team swept the Yakima Yaks 9-7 and 6-2.
In game one: Bailee Mills pitched a complete game scattering 13 hits and giving up only 3 earned runs. Raelyn Curry went 2-3 hitting her 7th HR of the year. Debbie Henze went 2-3 hitting 2 doubles and 2 RBI.
In game two: Lynsey Hudelson led the offense going 3-4 with 3 RBI. Samantha MacFee, Elise Shenk, Gabrielle Okamura, and Kirstin Wert each had two hits. Curry picked up the win giving up only 4 hits.
On Saturday, the CHUKS were shutout both games by Wenatchee Valley 8-0 and 12-0.
The Chukars, 22-18 overall and 17-11 in league, will travel to Blue Mountain CC on Wednesday.
