Two Chukar Wrestlers Advance To NCWA National Championships

(Caldwell, ID) - Two wrestlers from the Treasure Valley Community College (TVCC) team qualified for the National Collegiate Wrestling Associations' National Championship Tournament at the regional tournament held in Aberdeen, Washington March 2nd.  Mark Ishida, pre-nursing student wrestling in the 165-pound class, and Dylan Feldmeier pre-dental hygiene student wrestling at 235 pounds, each defeated athletes from Washington State University to earn a spot at Nationals.  Both Feldmeier and Ishida pinned their opponents in the first period to secure their tickets to Texas.  Congratulations to Mark and Dylan- GO CHUKS!
