Treasure Valley Track & Field Makes Noise Against D1 Competition

Treasure Valley Community College Track and Field team competed in the Bengal Invite held in Pocatello, Idaho, under clear skies. The Chukars faced formidable opponents, including athletes from Division I schools, and emerged with several impressive achievements.

During the meet, Treasure Valley secured 11 new top 10 all-time marks and achieved 16 personal records. Additionally, the team recorded four new top 16 NWAC marks and finished in the top 5 in eight different events, showcasing their competitive edge against larger schools.

A noteworthy moment came during the 4x100 relay. Despite a University of Montana athlete's injury affecting the race, the Chukars were on track to break their school record again, already leading by half a second after the first two legs.

Reflecting on the team's performance, Coach Jaggi remarked, "The Chuks killed it in Pocatello this weekend! Competing against D1 schools, our top 5 finishes are a testament to their hard work."

Treasure Valley's achievements at the Bengal Invite highlight their dedication and skill. The team looks forward to continuing their success as they prepare for their next competition at Umpqua.
