Men's Soccer Ends Season with Tie vs. Blue Mountain

[Ontario, OR] - The Treasure Valley Community College men's soccer team wrapped up the 2022 season on Wednesday with a tie on the road against Blue Mountain Community College. The Chukars entered the Wednesday afternoon game with an East Region record of 1-10, with their win coming against the North Idaho College Cardinals on Sophomore Day in mid-October. Blue Mountain Community College entered the matchup with a record of 5-5-3 in region play. The Timberwolves were on the board first with a goal in the 26th minute. That was the lone goal the the T-Wolves, as the game ended in a 1-1 tie. Chukar goalkeeper Javier Bustamente defended the goal for the entire 90 minutes of the match, allowing only 1 goal, and recording 4 saves.

The tie wraps up the Chukar men soccer season on a high note as they prepare for the off-season and go into the spring season. The spring season has no official games or stats, but it does give teams the opportunity to work out any cobwebs before the summer. The Chukars will lose only four sophomores this season, and will look to bring back a strong nucleus going into the 2023 Fall Season.
