Chukar Men's Basketball Season Comes to an End in Elite 8

[Pasco, WA] - The Treasure Valley Community College men's basketball team concluded the 2025-2026 season with an overall record of 17-10. This successful season was highlighted by their performance in the East Region, where they secured the region title with a notable victory against Blue Mountain on the road.

In the postseason, Treasure Valley advanced to the NWAC tournament, where they won their first game in the Sweet 16 round, achieving an Elite 8 appearance for only the second time in the school's history. They ultimately fell in the second round, marking an impressive postseason journey.
 
This season marked the best conference record since 2024 and featured several individual accolades. Jeremiah Williams was named the East Region Player of the Year, while Eddie Rodriguez and Alain Nziza earned spots on the East Region Second Team. Additionally, Jouk Mayan was recognized on the East Region Defensive All-Conference Team, underscoring the talent and hard work of the team members.
 
Reflecting on the season, the head coach acknowledged, "The start of the year did not go as we planned, but I am proud of our group for being high character and being able to turn around the season. Winning an East Region title is something that we can all be proud of. Ee had four players that were nominated to the all conference team and this group of sophomores  will be missed, they made a big impact on our program and laid the groundwork moving forward."
 
As the 2025-2026 season wraps up, the Treasure Valley Community College men's basketball team can reflect on a year of significant achievements and growth, setting a strong foundation for the future.
