Men's Basketball Finishes East Region Undefeated at Home
[Ontario, OR] - Treasure Valley Community College secured a commanding 94-71 victory over Wenatchee Valley College, improving its conference record to 11-1. This win was particularly special as it marked Sophomore Day, the last home game for the Chukars. Williams led the team with an impressive double-double, scoring 22 points and grabbing 12 rebounds while shooting 44.4% from the field. Alain Nziza contributed significantly off the bench, scoring 17 points with a perfect 5-5 from the free-throw line. The team demonstrated efficiency from beyond the arc, making 44.0% of its three-point attempts.
Gabe Britton also played a crucial role, adding 12 points and 2 steals in just 21 minutes of play. Treasure Valley's defense was effective, forcing 23 Wenatchee Valley turnovers and collecting 17 steals.
