Men's Basketball Finishes East Region Undefeated at Home

[Ontario, OR] - Treasure Valley Community College secured a commanding 94-71 victory over Wenatchee Valley College, improving its conference record to 11-1. This win was particularly special as it marked Sophomore Day, the last home game for the Chukars. Williams led the team with an impressive double-double, scoring 22 points and grabbing 12 rebounds while shooting 44.4% from the field. Alain Nziza contributed significantly off the bench, scoring 17 points with a perfect 5-5 from the free-throw line. The team demonstrated efficiency from beyond the arc, making 44.0% of its three-point attempts.

Gabe Britton also played a crucial role, adding 12 points and 2 steals in just 21 minutes of play. Treasure Valley's defense was effective, forcing 23 Wenatchee Valley turnovers and collecting 17 steals. The home team dominated the boards with 34 total rebounds, including 10 offensive rebounds, which helped maintain control throughout the game. The win secured Treasure Valley's position at the top of the standings as it prepares for its next matchup. On Wednesday, February 25 the Chukars travel to Pendleton, OR to face Blue Mountain. A win on Wednesday would solidify the Chukars position as East Region Champions.
