Chukars Sign Texas Guard Eli Igiranez

Treasure Valley Community College is thrilled to announce the signing of 6'4" guard Eli Igiranez!
Eli will join the Chukars as a sophomore transfer from Eastern Wyoming College, bringing size, versatility, and experience to the backcourt.
A native of Amarillo, Texas, Eli played his high school basketball at Palo Duro High School, where he was a First Team All-District selection and stood out for his athleticism and all-around game.
Head Coach Eric Holbrook had this to say about Eli:
"Eli is a dynamic athlete who will come in and make an immediate impact for us. He is a guy who fits our system well with what we do and someone with the character to really develop in our program."
When asked why he chose TVCC, Eli shared:
"I chose TVCC Men's Basketball because I was drawn to their strong program and the opportunity to develop my skills further while competing at a high level."
Eli is the son of Aloys Banyankazi and Jovita Nishimwe, and has two sisters, Estella Irera and Sarah Banyankazi.
Welcome to Treasure Valley, Eli — we're excited to have you!
