(Ontario, OR) - The TVCC men's basketball team fell to the NJCAA powerhouse College of Southern Idaho 123-80 Friday night in John J Easly gymnasium.
The Chukars defense could not stop the hot shooting Golden Eagles from Twin Falls. The Eagles shot a blistering 56% from behind the 3 point line and 52% overall. The Eagles had 7 players score in double figures.
Freshman Jaden Vaughn led the CHUKS with 19 points, including 4 for 8 from behind the 3 point line. Freshman Tyus Jefferson added 16 points and Freshman Hunter Bailey chipped in with 13 points. Sophomore Tristen Penrod added 9 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
The Chukars, 7-4 overall in the preseason, will travel to Blue Mountain this Wednesday to open East Region conference play.
