[Yakima, WA] - Treasure Valley Community College split its midweek matchups with Yakima Valley, battling through two competitive games as the Chukars continue pushing toward a spot in the NWAC Championship.

Treasure Valley earned an exciting 7–6 victory in the first matchup behind a balanced offensive effort and strong late pitching. Cam Ueland led the way by scoring three runs and collecting two hits, including a double, while Boyd Kay went 3-for-5 with two RBIs and a stolen base. Colt Durham also had a standout performance with three hits, two runs scored, and an RBI, including a key insurance run in the eighth inning.

Nicholas McDaniel delivered an important RBI triple in the second inning as Treasure Valley built an early lead. On the mound, Grayson Paul pitched 7 1/3 innings while striking out five batters, and Luke Colson closed out the game with 1 2/3 scoreless innings in relief. The Chukars also played error-free defense, helping preserve the narrow win.

In the second game, Treasure Valley fell 5–1 despite several strong individual performances. The Chukars return home this weekend for another crucial series against Yakima Valley with NWAC Championship hopes on the line. Treasure Valley needs to win at least one of the two games this weekend to advance to the NWAC Championship. The series will also mark Sophomore Night, making it an important weekend for fans to come out, support the team, and recognize the sophomore class.
