Chukars open season with 7-4 loss at Chemeketa
(Newberg,OR) - The TVCC baseball team opened the 2017 season with a 7-4 loss to Chemeketa Community College Saturday at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon.
Sophomore Tyler Laird (0-1) suffered the loss for the CHUKS.
Cole Jones went 1-4, Logan LaFamina went 1-5 with a double and an RBI, Dylan Mansanzarez went 1-4 with a 2-run HR, Tanner Cantwell went 1-5, Nolan Jekich went 2-3, and Joe Puzio went 2-4 to lead the CHUKS.
The CHUKS will take on Chemeketa CC in a DH on Sunday in Newberg.
