Women's Wrestling Competes at Spokane Open

[Spokane, WA] - The Treasure Valley Community College Women's Wrestling program competed at the Spokane Open in mid-November. There was a strong showing by the team, where three student-athletes placed. Coach Luis Cisneros shared, "the women wrestled tough and with the team being this young, this was a great learning opportunity for them".

Marlie Skidmore placed 5th in the 103# weight class. Abigail Mardock also placed 5th in the 124# weight class.  Elena Flores, wrestling in the same weight class as Mardock, placed 6th. 

The Chukars will be back in action at the John J Easly Memorial Gymnasium when they host the first women's only dual in program history on December 13th and 14th. They will be hosting Pacific University, Eastern Oregon University, and Linfield University.
