Brenda Ramirez Honored as Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week

[Ontario, OR] - Treasure Valley sophomore tennis student-athlete Brenda Ramirez was named the NWAC Sports Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week for the week of March 24th-30th. Ramirez, a sophomore for the Chukars out of Vale, OR, was nominated by Head Coach Mark Heleker after an impressive start to the season. At the time of the award, Ramirez was 5-1 on the season in singles matches. In doubles action, Ramirez and her partner, Elena Henry, are undefeated in #2 doubles matches. 

 

Ramirez will look to continue helping the Chukars success as they travel to Lewiston, ID and Spokane, WA on April 11th and 12th.
