[Ontario, OR] - In the final home game of the 2021-2022 season, the TVCC Women's basketball team beat the Yakima Yaks in a one-sided ball game with a final score of 77-50. The Chuks were hoping for a North Idaho loss to Big Bend to make the postseason, but unfortunately, the Cardinals got the win 67-61, and the fourth and final spot in the NWAC East Region.

Busy offensively was Maddy Erickson with 13 points, Emma Clark with 12, and Hanna Roberts, Maunayia Harrigfeld, and Mckell Parkinson each putting up 11. Harrigfeld also had 17 rebounds on the night.

The Chukars finished the season 12-15 overall and 8-8 in conference play. Graduating key players from their roster, the Chuks are hoping to have a productive off-season and work to get to the post-season tournament next year.
