TVCC Chukar Rodeo Named Champions

Walla Walla, WA - TVCC Chukar Rodeo teams took home the hardware after the final rodeo of the season.

The Northwest Regional results as of April 30, 2021 are as follows:

• Champion Women's Team with 4,536 points (3rd ranked team in the Nation)
• Champion Men's Team with 7,520.5 points (2nd ranked team in the Nation)
• Women's All-Around Champion with 1495 points (4th in the Nation) - Jayce Blake
• Men's All-Around Champion with 1945 points (3rd in the Nation) - Tyler Smith
• Champion Bareback Rider (1st in the Nation)- Tyler Smith
• 3rd Place Bareback Rider - Brant Monahan
• Reserve Champion Tie-Down Roper (8th in the Nation) - Indigo Sappington
  • Team members with national ranking are Zane Taylor 21st
• 3rd Place Breakaway Roper (9th in the Nation)- Jayce Blake
• Champion Saddle Bronc Rider (6th in the Nation) - Keagan Richards
• 3rd Place Saddle Bronc Rider - Jace England
• Champion Steerwrestler (3rd in the Nation) - Jayce Garthwaite

• Reserve Champion Goat Tying (6th in the Nation) - Jayce Blake

• Champion Team Ropers Colton Kluser (header) 5th in the Nation and Brady White of EOU (heeler) 
• 3rd Place Team Ropers - Austin Iveson (header) 8th in the Nation and Garrett Brown (heeler) 8th in the Nation

Drew Pearson will be taking both teams to the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) in Casper, WY on June 11-19, 2021.
