Cross Country 2025 Season Kickoff

[Ontario, OR] - The Treasure Valley Community College Cross Country teams will kick off their 2025 season at the Northwest Nazarene University Invitiational on Friday, September 19th in Nampa, ID. With two young squads, first year Head Coach Ryan Jaggi is looking forward to a competitive season for both the women and the men. Goya Lemus is the lone returner from the Chukars, hoping to share her experience with her teammates as they begin their season.

Coach Ryan Jaggi expressed his excitement with the season kick off, mentioning "I am super excited to get out and race. The athletes have been putting in a ton of work, and they have been absolutely crushing workouts and look really good". 

While both teams are venturing into new waters, with the men running an 8K race and the women racing 6K, Coach Jaggi said "there will be a lot of learning this week, but they are super excited to get in and get after it. We have a team full of tough competitors, so it should be an exciting day to see them race".
