Soccer All-Stars Revealed, Gomez and Molina Earn Honors
[Ontario, OR] - Treasure Valley Community College (TVCC) Soccer concluded the 2025 fall season with the women's team finishing 6-9 overall and 4-8 in the East Region, while the men's team recorded a 1-12 overall and 0-10 East Region record. Neither team qualified for postseason play.
The Women's Soccer team celebrated a notable victory against NWAC #4 ranked Columbia Basin on October 18th with a 2-1 win at home, marked by goals from Allie Hurst and Stella Simpson. Ashlyn Webb was instrumental in the win, making 11 saves in the net. Two players, sophomore McKenzie Haley and freshman Madeline Williams, earned 2nd Team All-East Region honors, highlighting individual achievements within the team.
A highpoint for the Chukar Men's Soccer team was when they secured a victory on the road against Pacific Northwest Christian College in August, with freshman Sergio Gomez contributing two goals in the 3-2 triumph. Both Gomez and sophomore Edwin Molina were recognized for their performances throughout the season with 2nd Team All-East Region accolades.
Reflecting on the season, a representative from the women's team expressed pride in the progress made and the competitive nature of their play, emphasizing a commitment to continued development. A representative from the men's team acknowledged the season's ups and downs but noted the individual highlights and the strides being made towards developing the program at Treasure Valley.
