Chuks drop DH at Blue Mountain 2-0 and 8-7
(Pendleton, OR) - The TVCC Chukar baseball team dropped a doubleheader at Pendleton 2-0 and 8-7.
Game 1 BMCC 2 TVCC 0
After giving up 4 hits and allowing 2 runs in the bottom of the first inning, the Chukar pitching (Robles, Pope, and Wheeler) scattered just two BMCC hits. But the Chukar bats would only manage 6 hits of their own, but could not score. Anthony Pannullo went 2-4 to lead the CHUKS.
Game 2 BMCC 8 TVCC 7
The Chukars bounce back and score 3 runs in the top of the first all with 2 outs. Payton Higgins delivered the big 2 out double scoring two of those runs. Again, in the top of the 8th inning, the Chukars managed a 3 spot with 2 outs. Connor Benear had the big hit of the inning, an RBI triple. Benear had two hits and Higgins also had two hits.
