Cards fall to Treasure Valley on the road

ONTARIO, Ore. — Randy Lane scored on a free kick in the 24th minute for the Cardinals, who came up short to the Chukars in a Northwest Athletic Conference match.

"We kind of ran out of steam a little bit in the second half," NIC coach Brad Williams said. "We just had some poor defending errors in the second half. We were in control and had chances to win the game, and had some shots that were right at the keeper. Credit to Treasure Valley, they just fought."
