Chukar Volleyball Ends Season with 3-Game Win Streak

[Ontario, OR] - The Treasure Valley Community College Volleyball team wrapped up their season on Friday with a 5-set thriller over Blue Mountain Community College. The Chukars overpowered the Timberwolves in the 5th set, following a back-and-forth battle that lasted all evening. Multiple Chukars finished the match with double-figure stats, including Faith Burris that had a game-high 30 digs, and Lexy Parsons who recorded 21 digs. Mackenzie Olsen had a game-high 18 kills, followed by Addison Raebel with 10 of her own. Kyler Nitzel finished with 7 blocks. Mariya Hoffner had 38 assists, where she also met the 1,000+ assist milestone in her two year career at TVCC. 

The Chukars finished the season winning their last three games, topping Big Bend and Walla Walla in straight sets, then wrapping up Blue Mountain in five. The Chukars finish their season 8-8 in East Region play, which was one game short of making the NWAC Championships. Mariya Hoffner finished 6th in the NWAC in assists per set, with 8.22. Keysha Mckean finished 15 in the NWAC in total digs, with 384.
