Bio

Coach Cisneros is going into his 2nd year as the head men's and women's wrestling coach for the TVCC Chukars. In his first season, Coach Cisneros focused his time on recruiting for the upcoming season. He is projecting to have over 20 wrestlers adorning the chukar uniform this upcoming season. He’s excited with the current recruits and is looking forward to bringing wrestling back to TVCC’s main campus. Cisneros was hired in August of 2023 after coaching at Nyssa High School for the past 5 seasons.

A graduate from Nyssa High School in 2003. He attended Clackamas Community College where he competed for the cougars under Mike Haluska and in his last season with CCC, he was coached by current Oregon State University Assistant wrestling coach Josh Rhoden. 

Cisneros received his transfer degree and attended Southern Oregon University. After one season with the Raiders, he transferred to Portland State University where he was a graduate assistant for their wrestling team and received his bachelorette degree in Spanish. PSU discontinued their wrestling program in 2009. Cisneros was then hired at Liberty High School where he coached alongside head coach Eric Givens. 

In 2011 Cisneros attended Pacific University in Forest Grove where he received his Masters Degree in Teaching. During that time, he was also an assistant coach for the Boxers, coaching both the men and the women's wrestling teams. 

Coach Cisneros' vision for Treasure Valley Community College is to provide an environment where student athletes are pushed to be the best version of themselves, both in and out of the wrestling room and classroom. Most importantly, he is here to help the student athletes become productive members of our community. 

Coach Cisneros is also on the coach staff for the Oregon Women's National Wrestling Team. He is also the owner and head coach of The Factory Wrestling Club where there has been multiple All-Americans and national team members for Team Oregon and Team Idaho.
