Lady Chuks open with win over Grays Harbor

(Yakima, WA) - The TVCC lady Chukars opened the 2016-17 season with a win over Grays Harbor 92-74 on Friday night in the opening round of the Yakima Tip Off tournament.

Sophomore transfer Chelsee Baker led the CHUKS with 24 points on 8-21 from the floor, including 3-7 from the 3 point line and 5-8 from the free throw line.

Freshman Mia Berengeur knocked down 14 points and sophomore Riley Helmick added 13 points and sophomore Gentry Oldham added 12 points and led the CHUKS with 12 rebounds.
