Chukars win over Yakima 89-87
(Yakima, WA) - The TVCC men's basketball team kept their playoff hopes alive with 89-87 victory over the Yakima Yaks on Wednesday night.
Freshman Hunter Bailey continued his hot shooting leading the CHUKS with 30 points on the night. Bailey was 10-17 from the field, including 2-4 from the 3 point line and 8-9 from the free throw line.
Sophomore Troy Williams added 22 points with 4-9 from beyond the 3 point line. Freshman Jaden Vaughn added 19 points.
The Chukars, 15-10 overall and 8-6 in league, trail Big Bend CC by two games for the fourth playoff spot from the East. The Chukars host BBCC this Saturday at 4 pm.
