Chukars open crossover tourney with 100-96 win over Linn-Benton CC

(Albany, OR) - The TVCC men's basketball team won it's third game in a row with a 100-96 thriller over host Linn-Benton CC on Friday night in Albany.

Freshman Tyus Jefferson led with way for the CHUKS, scoring 23 points and dishing out 6 assists. Five other Chukars scored in double figures. Hunter Bailey added 22 points, including 10-13 from the free throw line. Jaden Vaughn knocked down 16, Troy Williams with 14, Braxton Bruni chipped in with 12, and Edo Okafor added 11 points. Bailey also grabed a team high 12 rebounds.

The Chukars, 5-3 overall, will take on Olympic College today in Albany.
