Chuks split with WVC advance to NWAC playoffs
(Wenatchee, WA) - The TVCC Chukar baseball team lost game one at Wenatchee 7-3 but bounced back to win game two and advance to the NWAC playoffs.
In game one: The CHUKS were outhit 12-8 and Tyler Laird suffered the loss. Nolan Jekich went 3-5 to lead the offense. Logan LaFamina went 1-3 with 2 RBI's.
In game two: Ty Hueckman went 7.0 innings to get the win and preserve the playoff spot for the CHUKS in the 8-1 win in game two over Wenatchee Valley. Tanner Cantwell went 3-5 hitting his 6th HR of the season. Brad Jekich also went 3-5 with an RBI. Dylan Mansanzarez went 2-4 with an RBI and Jake Takanaka went 2-4.
The Chukars, 25-20 and 16-12 in league will advance to the NWAC super regional traveling to either LBCC or Lane CC next Thursday.
