Chukars split with CBC winning game one 5-3 and losing game two 3-2
(Pasco, WA) - TVCC wins game one 5-3 over Columbia Basin College.
In game one: Nolan Jekich delivers a big 2 out 2 RBI double lifting the Chukars over CBC. Sophomore Tanner Cantwell goes 7 innings giving up just 3 hits while recording 7 strikeouts.
In game two: The Chukars jump out to an early lead 1-0 and 2-1 but CBC battled back to go ahead in the bottom of the 8th inning and held on to defeat the CHUKS 3-2 and gain the split on the day.
Dylan Mansanzarez goes 2-3 to lead the CHUKS. Jerred Seamons, Tyler Roper, and Nolan Jekich collect hits for the Chuks. Joe Becher suffers the loss.
The Chukars, 10-8 in league and 19-16 overall, will travel to Yakima on Saturday.
