[Ontario, OR] - The Treasure Valley Community College baseball team earned four wins in their season opener against the visiting Chemeketa Community College Storm. 

 

Pitching Impressive As TVCC Beat Chemeketa CC 3-1

Both teams were strong on the mound on Saturday, but TVCC defeated Chemeketa CC 3-1. Levi Hazes started the game for TVCC and recorded 12 outs.

TVCC got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Boyd Kay singled to center field, and TVCC scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run.

Jordan McIntyre earned the win for TVCC. The reliever allowed zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out one and walking two. Hanson took the loss for Chemeketa CC. The starter went four and one-third innings, surrendering two runs on six hits, striking out three and walking one. Levi Hazes opened the game for TVCC. The hurler surrendered five hits and one run over four innings, striking out one and walking one. Gabe Schwenken collected the save.

TVCC accumulated 11 hits in the game. Colt Durham, Bryson Oswald, Nolan Lehew, and Seth Vogt each collected two hits for TVCC. Boyd Kay and Bryson Oswald were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for TVCC. TVCC stole three bases in the game. TVCC turned one double play in the game. TVCC was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Kay made the most plays with seven.

 

Three Pitchers Team Up As TVCC Shut Out Chemeketa CC 4-0

TVCC defeated Chemeketa CC 4-0 on Saturday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Marco Aviles, Coltan Spagnuolo, and Gabe Tanner each pitched for TVCC in the game. Marco Aviles induced a fly out from Cuff to get the last out.

A ground out by Cam Ueland put TVCC on the board in the bottom of the third.

Coltan Spagnuolo started for TVCC. The pitcher surrendered four hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out four and walking one. Gabe Tanner earned the win for TVCC. Hockman took the loss for Chemeketa CC. The starter went four innings, surrendering one run on four hits, striking out four and walking one. Marco Aviles and Gabe Tanner each threw shutout innings for TVCC in relief.

TVCC accumulated nine hits in the game. Gavin Hernandez, the number nine hitter for TVCC, led the way with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. TVCC were victorious against Chemeketa CC 5-1 on Sunday.

TVCC got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Landyn Fullmer grounded out, and Boyd Kay hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.

Trey Allen earned the win for TVCC. The pitcher surrendered four hits and one run over four innings, striking out one and walking one. Spencer took the loss for Chemeketa CC. The starter went three innings, surrendering two runs (zero earned) on two hits, striking out one and walking three. Landyn Fullmer led things off on the mound for TVCC. The righty allowed zero hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out one and walking four. Grayson Paul pitched one inning of scoreless ball for TVCC in relief. The right-handed pitcher allowed zero hits, striking out two and walking none.

Lana Alvarico, Bryson Oswald, and Cam Ueland each collected two hits for TVCC. Boyd Kay and Cam Ueland were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for TVCC. Lana Alvarico stole two bases. TVCC stole three bases in the game. TVCC turned three double plays in the game.

 

TVCC 2026 Defeat Chemeketa CC On Multiple Hit Performance By Brayden Ollar

Brayden Ollar collected three hits in five at bats, as TVCC defeated Chemeketa CC 9-4 on Sunday. Brayden Ollar hit a solo home run to left field in the third inning, doubled in the first inning, and singled in the fourth inning.

A single by Cam Ueland on the sixth pitch of the at-bat put TVCC on the board in the bottom of the first.

TVCC took the lead in the bottom of the third. Brayden Ollar hit a solo home run to left field, to give TVCC the upper hand, 3-2.

Kace Stapleton earned the win for TVCC. The hurler allowed one hit and zero runs over three and one-third innings, striking out one and walking one. Bolstad took the loss for Chemeketa CC. The hurler went three innings, surrendering three runs on four hits, striking out three and walking two. Jameson Deitz stepped on the bump first for TVCC. The starting pitcher allowed three hits and two runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking six. Alex Lopez threw two innings of shutout ball for TVCC in relief. The hurler allowed zero hits, striking out two and walking one.

TVCC collected 11 hits in the game. Cam Ueland drove the middle of the lineup, leading TVCC with three runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 3-for-5 on the day. Ollar and Ueland each collected three hits for TVCC. Kade Bailey collected two hits for TVCC in four at bats. TVCC had patience at the plate, collecting seven walks for the game. Landyn Fullmer and Bryson Oswald led the team with two free passes each. Hudson Meyer stole two bases. TVCC stole five bases in the game. TVCC turned one double play in the game.

 

Treasure Valley Community College will travel to Coos Bay, OR to take on Southwestern Community College for a series on Saturday and Sunday.
