DeLeon Inks with Oregon State University

(Ontario, OR) - Delia DeLeon signed a National Letter of Intent to compete for PAC-12 member, Oregon State University.  She will be running for both Beaver Cross Country and Track and Field Teams.  DeLeon, a Nyssa, OR native, received NWAC All-American honors for her performance during her two-year career at Treasure Valley Community College.  She chose Oregon State over the University of Oregon and Idaho State University along with many other colleges.  As a freshman, DeLeon won the NWAC Cross Country Championship with a time of 18:29.2.  She also won the 1500 meter (4:54.76), the 5,000 meter (19:17.09) and the 10,000 meter (40:03.30) races as a TVCC freshman.  Her sophomore season, DeLeon took 2nd at the NWAC Cross Country Championships with a time of 18:36.3.  Congratulations to Delia DeLeon for earning a full-ride scholarship to Oregon State University!
