Chukars Honored as AVCA All-Americans

[Longview, WA] - Six student-athletes from the NWAC were recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) for the 2025 season, along with the Coach of the Year for Two-Year College women's volleyball. The award winners were voted upon by the All-America Selection Committee. Treasure Valley Community College and Bellevue College were two of six schools that had two All-Americans across all junior college levels.

Treasure Valley's Katelyn Markley and Bellevue's Mya Hejl were named First Team All-American. TVCC's Karly Clark and Edmond's Haley Yost were selected to the Second Team, and Bellevue's Olivia Deckard and Rogue's Shayla Lacamiento were named to the Third Team. TVCC head coach Rylie Engleson was the conference's nominee for Coach of the Year while Deckard was the conference nominee for Libero of the Year. 

Markley, Clark and Engleson led the Chukars to the program's first-ever NWAC volleyball title this year. Hejl and Deckard brought the Bulldogs to the championship match. Edmond's Yost helped lead the Tritons to the best overall record in the NWAC this season while Rogue's Lacamiento led the NWAC in assists and helped the Ospreys make program history with their first top-four finish.
