Treasure Valley Volleyball Drops 2 at Home

[Ontario, OR] - Treasure Valley CC Volleyball struggled at home over the weekend, losing 3-0 to Columbia Basin on Friday, and 3-1 to Wenatchee on Saturday. In Friday's contest vs. the Hawks of Columbia Basin College, Macey Buesher led the way with 10 digs, and Eva Murphy coming in behind with 8 of her own. The Chukars fell to the Hawks with set scores of 21-25, 21-25, 7-25. 

On Saturday, the visiting Knights from Wenatchee Valley College were in town for an afternoon matchup. Macey Buesher put up a monster 24 digs in the match, which was a game high for both teams. Two other Chukars posted double-digit digs, Eva Murphy with 18, and Lainey Keppler with 14. McCall Maxfield recorded a game high 13 kills on the afternoon. The Chukars put up a fight aginst the Knights, but ultimately fell in 4 sets, losing 26-28, 13-25, 25-20, 20-25. 

The Chukars will re-group this week as they prepare for their next home matchup, as the Cardinals from North Idaho are in town on Saturday, October 16th. Game time will be 2:00 pm Mountain Time.
