Bio
Ryan Jaggi is a former distance runner and coach recognized for his commitment to athlete development and excellence in distance running. He competed for Northwest Nazarene University, where he distinguished himself as a talented distance runner, earning accolades throughout his career. After transferring to Treasure Valley Community College (TVCC) for a year to complete his associate's degree, Ryan went on to finish his collegiate career at Eastern Oregon University.
Following his successful collegiate journey, Ryan transitioned into coaching at Eastern Oregon University, serving as a distance coach. With 10 years of experience in the teaching and coaching field, he has a proven ability to build successful programs at all levels. He has coached multiple national champions and dozens of All-Americans at the NAIA level.
Ryan successfully resurrected the cross country and track programs at Grangeville High School, leading both the boys' and girls' teams to district titles in just his second season. He has demonstrated exceptional capability in recruiting student-athletes and is known for his hardworking and passionate nature, embodying the attributes essential to any successful organization.
His ability to connect with athletes and understand their individual needs has made him a respected figure in the running community. Ryan's passion for distance running and commitment to fostering a love for the sport continue to inspire the next generation of runners. He remains an advocate for the sport, emphasizing the importance of hard work, perseverance, and teamwork.
