TVCC Women's Basketball Unable to Advance Past Sweet 16

[Pasco, WA] - Treasure Valley Community College Women's Basketball concluded the 2025-2026 season with an overall record of 18-11. The Chukars advanced to the NWAC tournament but were defeated in the first round, marking an end to a noteworthy season where they achieved the second-best finish in school history.

Throughout the season, Treasure Valley competed fiercely in several challenging regional games, showcasing their resilience against some of the top teams in the NWAC. Their efforts were highlighted by significant achievements, including Ava Cuff being named to the East Region Second Team, underscoring individual excellence within the squad.
 
Reflecting on the season, the head coach Riley Helmick expressed pride in the team's consistent improvement and the hard work displayed by the players. The coach acknowledged the bittersweet nature of concluding the season with a loss but recognized the program's forward momentum, appreciating the contributions of the sophomores and looking ahead to the development of the freshmen.
