Women's Basketball Third Quarter Rally Comes up Short

[Ontario, OR] - In a home matchup against Spokane, the Sasquatch dominated the first and second quarter. Trailing 47-26 at halftime, the Chukars came into the third with plenty of momentum, cutting the deficit to 8 points. The Chuks ultimately fell short of a comeback with a final score of 76-59.

Leading the Chukars in points was Hanna Roberts with 16. Following her was Maunayia Harrigfield and Emma Clark with 8 points. Harrigfield also led her team with 12 rebounds.

This second consecutive loss puts Treasure Valley at a record of 5-6. Now seventh in the East Region, the Chuks chances of a postseason are diminishing. The Chuks will play Walla Walla Community College on Monday, February 21th.
