Lady Chuks Continue to Struggle on the Road

[Pendleton, OR] - In another close game, the TVCC Women's Basketball team fell short against Blue Mountain Community College, with a final score of 62-59.

Despite the loss, the Chuks had some positives with Emma Clark putting up 20 points, followed by McKell Parkinson's 11 points and Maunayia Harrigfeld's 10.

As the season is winding down, this was a big loss for the Lady Chuks. Now 5-5 in the East Region, the Chuks dropped in standings from having sole possession of 4th to T-5th. With only six league games left, four within the end of the month, the Chuks will be looking for wins and help from other teams across the East at a shot for the postseason. The top 4 teams from each region (North, East, South, West) get to go to Everett for a shot at the NWAC Title.

The Chuks will look to bounce back in a quick turnaround against Spokane Community College this Saturday, February 19th at home in John J Easly Gymnasium.
