Chukars Fall To East Region Leader, Big Bend
(Ontario, OR) - The Lady Chukars lost to East Region leader, Big Bend by a final score of 80-73. In the first quarter the Vikings outscored the Chukars, 32-13. However, TVCC fought back to end the first half down just six points, 38-32. The Vikings were able to outscore the Chukars by one in the second half to eventually win by 7. Big Bend advances to 5-0 in NWAC play as the Chukars fall to 2-4. TVCC's Paige Vorwaller completed another double-double, scoring 23 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. Other Chukars in double figures were Lillie Smith (14) and Macy Markus (13). The Chukars are back in action on Wednesday, January 23rd as they travel to Columbia Basin CC. Go Chuks!
