(Ontario, OR) - The Lady Chukars moved to 2-1 in NWAC play defeating Blue Mountain Community College by a final score of 71-51. TVCC's defense caused the Timberwolves to turn the ball over 26 times and held them to just 36% (18-50) shooting from the field. Even though the Chukars struggled from the field at 30.3% (23-76), they managed to shoot 83.3% (20-24) from the free throw line. Macy Markus led the Chukars with 18 points and Paige Vorwaller chalked-up another double-double as she scored 17 points and pulled down 11 rebounds . Lillian Kelley chipped in 12 points while Tara Chamberlain contributed 10. The Chukars will host Spokane Community College on Saturday, January 12th at 2:00pm in the John J. Easly Gymnasium. Go Chuks!
